SEMINARS

These seminars provide a unique opportunity for people to explore, in a safe and supportive atmosphere, their inner resources and the important part these can play in making more effective and positive work places. As such, our seminars complement and enhance existing positive practices and empower the vision and values that underpin the ethos of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS).

Facts and Figures

Between 1994 and 2009, nearly 1000 people have attended our residential and non-residential seminars including:

  • prison governers and discipline grades, probation officers, educators, administrators, chaplains, psychologists, nurses, headquarters personnel and government officials.
  • representatives from more than 60 prisons and 30 voluntary organisations
  • members of the Independent Monitoring Board, Prison Ombudsman, Prison Inspectorate, ploice, drug agencies, academia, business and independents
  • International representation

These events are designed as either one-day seminars or as residential seminars.

quoteA really excellent seminar! The true effects were not felt until I got home and allowed things to settle. I was so struck by the peace embedded in the work done and especiallyhow we all blended together. Thank you for all that you do to create peace in our world.endquote
