  AIMS OF THE SERVICE

Through a variety of forums, the working group aims to:

  • explore the factors that contribute to harmonious relationships with ourselves, others and the environment
  • facilitate a process that enables the individuals to develop their positive qualities and attributes
  • assist individuals to experience self-respect and self-esteem
  • explore personal and spiritual growth and understanding
  • recognise the impact of thoughts, words and behaviour in ourselves and others
  • provide a non-judgemental and supportive environment in which to facilitate personal growth.

The Benefits

Nowadays, more and more organisations and professions are recognising the important part that spiritual ideas and practices, such as reflection, appreciation and meditation, can play in improving the quality of life. The many benefits include:

  • an ability to stand back and make more effective decisions
  • better personal relationships and greater co-operation
  • improved ability to handle change and conflic
  • deeper understanding of the effects of our thoughts, words and actions on ourselves and others
  • greater self esteem through appreciating the innate positive qualities and values that are the bedrock of our personality
  • greater clarity and peace of mind.

The seminars are excellent, extremely informative, welcoming and a pleasure to attend. I have derived great personal benefit from them and I am now much more relaxed in myself. This in turn has had a very positive impact on the quality of my work and home time.

Excellent – a privilege to attend! I arrived feeling rather depressed and demotivated but left recharged and empowered. Not bad for two days
